Monochrome Madness – My first Post

Coming along Leanne Cole´s “Monochrome Madness”, I just decided to start this madness also on my blog. This week is quite easy since this week is a “free week” and we can post what we want.

So I choose a couple of pictures and hope, you will like them a bit. To see them in a bigger view, just click on the pictures.

The first picture is a silhouette of a viewing tower in Stuttgart, Germany. I like photographing clear lines as silhouettes.

We continue with lines, but this time with a little more grey tones in the image. (Barcelona / Spain)

It seems that I like spiral staircases 😉
Another silhouette from Stuttgart, Germany.

But it’s not just silhouettes that appeal to me, it’s also reflections, as you can see in this picture of the opera house in Oslo (Norway).

Even historic buildings with their more playful lines have their charm when depicted in black and white. As here in the picture of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague (Czechia).

Finally, an image with symbolic meaning: the flying dove. I hope that this symbol of peace is a sign for the whole world not to give up hope that we can live together in peace.
