After a short break due to my holidays on bicycle, I am happy to participate now at Judy’s Numbers Game #131. Today we have to search to the number 748 in our picture archive. Just typed „748“ in the search field of the file name and got several photos. As always, I will show maximum 10 of them.

In Germany as well as in almost the whole part of Europe, we have a heat wave this June and July. So, hot-air balooning is almost impossible.
On 5th of July 2015, this hot air balloon could start into the early morning sky.
Also the historic steam trains are at the moment not allowed to run, since there is high fire risk. In September 2015 I could have captured the 01 class engine of the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum climbing up the Geislinger Steige, a famous part of the railway from Stuttgart to Ulm.

In our area, there are some great roads into the mountains, with a lot of curves. And sometimes, they close one special road for a so called „mountain race“, where you can see some cars from the recent past decades, trying to get the best time in climbing up the mountain road. Here you can see an Audi 50. (September 2018)
One of the largest Lakes in Southern Germany is the Lake Constance which is in the midst of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. There you also can rent some small boats which do not require any license and enjoy the cool water and great view of the lake and the mountains. (July 2022)
Even if it is raining, the participants and visitors of the „Route66“ festival in Aarburg/Switzerland keep on to stay in style and shape. (August 2023)

She is part of the 10 „Scenes in the Square“ movie statues in Leicester Square, celebrating films of the last 100 years. (March 2024)
Another visit at „Route66“ in Aarburg/Switzerland one year later (August 2024) I had the opportunity to meet the „Ghostbusters of Switzerland“. They had a short break in the morning, since the ghosts were still sleeping after a great Rock’n’Roll night.
In May 2025, „The Gambler“, member of the music group „Tales of Nebelheym“ is waiting in a relaxed way to start playing his part.
I like the Steampunk Atmosphere, and so I was at „Anno1900“ in Luxembourg. A lot of great steampunk people were there and this elegant lady, well-protected by her bodyguard, agreed to a shot from my camera. I am happy that I didn’t fail, otherwise I would be dead 😉
