For the “One Word Sunday Challenge” by “Travel with Intent”, participants are asked to submit a photo that relates to the word “Water”.

Water – we humans need it to live, and yet many have died because of this element. Sailors have the utmost respect for the power and treachery of the oceans, and even flowing rivers harbour many dangers. Rain turns a small stream into a deadly river, and without rain, the crops wither and die.
I was fascinated by the rivers and waterfalls in Iceland. And that’s why today’s post features a picture of Brúarfoss.
